We are excited to announce our Social Skills Program for Summer 2022! Our Social Skills program was created to help children learn the skills needed to successfully navigate their social environments in a small group setting. 

What is the Social Skills program?

Over the last 7 years, our team has developed a proprietary Social Skills curriculum designed to facilitate access to independence. Our Summer program is delivered over a 10-week period, with small groups meeting 5 times per week and with a minimum 3-week commitment to be accepted into the summer program. Our groups do not exceed 6 clients.

Our team is keenly aware of all the needs and idiosyncrasies of the children in attendance and we have designed the groups to optimize the experience for everyone. Our Social Skills Program teaches independence and freedom while respecting your child’s natural social development.

Our Social Skills program has a key focus in these areas:

• Communication
• Independent Play Skills
• Cooperative Play Skills
• Perspective-taking
• Self-management
• Problem solving skills
• Relationship and Friendship Development

We are enrolling kids ages 18 months – 15 years old in our Social Skills program. We take great care in forming groups by considering the age, skill level, and behavioral needs of each client. Our team conducts assessments upon application that include parent interviews, review of previous records (e.g., from school, doctor, and service providers), direct behavioral observations, and data-driven assessments that help us better understand your child’s strengths and areas of need.
